Step outside: Future forecasting for future education

Sign up or log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

If there's one thing we know about the future it is that we will need critical, new skills to navigate uncertainty and change. In exploring the future of education, we know that we need to stretch our thinking… far beyond and outside the world of school. How does society weather change? What can we learn from this? How do we map our observations back into meaningful, transformative steps forward for our schools?

In this high energy workshop session, Brett will share insights from a fascinating and deeply explorative 15 years of research into societal change. He will teach a tool that both you and your students can use for "future forecasting" - looking to the future NOW and understanding how to anticipate and prepare yourself for change.
